"the equinoctial pastry shop"
your entire post is a visual treat. Thank you for this exquisite poem.
Neruda is pure sweet light.
This is beautiful, Elizabeth.
"Weave tenderness and you'll feel strength." This is the key, I believe. Yet when I most need to feel (or want to generate) strength, I often find myself tough as nails. The third stanza of this Neruda poem is a balm; it calls to me.
A poem for a baker!!! Much love.
Ahhh, Neruda. Ahhh, Aquino! I think I'll go have some ice cream now.
a perfect poem for a poet and a pastry chef. if you hadn't posted it, and I ran across it somewhere else, i would certainly think of you.
