A daily creative practice... soul enriching... I’ve been reading a lot... light fiction interspersed with Frankl, Tolstoy, Adichie’s book on Grief, books I am using in the Saturday class that I’m teaching on Saturdays at Salem State. It’s not always easy, but always heart and soul tending. Good night.
So glad that you do, take the time to engage in the kind of practice that you do in the morning by the way. Nice to know that you have that for the day.
I don't think I know Adichie's book on Grief -- would love to hear more about it. I keep hearing about things and forgetting them, and it does sound familiar...
I call women honey all the time..a friend just called me honey today..she is from texas...so i know its a beautiful term of endearment..i thought i was talking to my friend kelly in the shadows of her doorway last year while painting her house...it turned out it was her boyfriend jd...i said hey honey how are you this morn?...no reply...he went back and crawled into bed with her..he said jeff just called me honey...we have a big fall spider on our back deck...we watch her devour honey bees...i thought i heard her wisper.."hey honey"..the other day as she sucked the little bee down slowly...it made sense...they must taste like honey....it was more of a "hey"..."honey"....it just made sense...thanks for this beautiful piece honey pie...i love you

I love you back.
That's . . . wow. 💕💕💕
Oh, my. Your mom is with you. ❤️
Wowzer. Sometimes the Universe wants to be sure we are paying attention.
You are good at that.
xoS
It sounds like you had a visit from your mom. That's lovely and beautiful.
Good on you for carving out time for yourself. It's not easy to do.
Oh Ms. Elizabeth- that last line.
"Daily Moon". Something else I could have called my blog.
Good for you for seeking out a practice so fitting and so healing.
That last sentence. Your mother the moon, bringing her light. Wow.
