three poems
“And my gift is forgetting
the phlebotomist’s name
that I once knew, by heart”
I remember that day. It was scary, the letting go, but it meant that it didn’t matter so much anymore
Oh god these poems just punched the air out of me thank you Elizabeth for introducing me. Remarkable.
yes already a fan of Suzanne's poetry! goes so deep in mining the territory, finding the words and images of the heart.
I love these poems and thank you for introducing me to this poet; she's remarkable.
Phenomenal. To the heart.
The last line of that last poem pierces through - wonderful poems, even to someone who doesn't know that life, that feeling, and can only glance at it through words, and wonder.
Words that pierce, connect, yet are a balm at the same time. Thank You.
Thank you.
