Your clarity. The beautiful way you make your points even when you do not specifically articulate them.

I love how you write. I admire it. I envy it.

Elizabeth, you make me want to do better. Sometimes I even do.

Peace.

You know nothing, which means you know everything. And how you write it, too!

Caring is devalued because women do it. Imagine if men did it? I care for my patients but the intangible part of my caring, the empathy and the compassion, you can't see and measure so it's worth nothing. Making someone's life better is not worth money. Starting an IV is worth something. Doing CPR is worth something. Checking vital signs is worth something but listening to someone is worthless. Taking care of a disabled person is a poorly paid job because nobody really gives a shit about disabled people. They don't vote and like drug addicts, if they would just go away, most people would be okay with that.

You seem to have hit a nerve here. I'm in a mood:)

Sending hugs and love.

"I’m not going to link the article because I don’t want to feel the cold wind of it on my face again." This line is just pure beauty.

None of it makes sense. How can we know anything if none of it makes sense?

I pray for the hummingbird and her eggs. I pray for the crow, cleaner of streets and alleyways. I pray that the crow will cleanse the dirty spirits of haters.
